Fab House is a network-driven community development and tech solution for addressing the technological divide, and housing vacancy & abandonment. While providing access to personalize learning and entrepreneurship opportunities .
The House
Take a home in the middle of a neighborhood street and turn it into a place where people can access technology and ideas.
The Fab House facilities will include a fab lab/makerspace and open work and design space on the lower levels. The upper levels of the home will serve as private living space for our experts in residence during their residency with Fab House
The Lab
A Fab Lab (FABrication LABoratory) is a small-scale workshop offering (personal) digital fabrication, which is a manufacturing process where the machine used is controlled by a computer. This includes design software, 3D printing, electronics, laser, and vinyl cutters, and other hand tools.
It can be used by residents to prepare for the workforce, build businesses, improve their education, and create for fun and play.

Demonstration
Since winning the Accelerate Cleveland community change pitch in 2019, we have been hosting demonstration activities. Through our partnerships with a number of maker spaces and other non-profits, Fab House has hosted hands on STEM activities with youth, made and distributed PPE, and hosted a community STEAM pop-up event.
