“Circle Scholars” – Through our partnerships with University Circle Inc. students made a collaborative word sign sculpture using laser cutters and mixed media collage. Students developed skills and familiarity with the maker space equipment (including CAD software, laser cutters, and vinyl cutters), instilling confidence in their ability to express themselves as creative problem solvers and makers.

“Fresh Fest” – Fab House celebrated this year’s Juneteenth in downtown Cleveland at Fresh Fest, in partnership with Ingenuity Cleveland.

“See Our Light” – A project of Fab House Cleveland and Mantles & Makers in partnership with Literary Cleveland and Ingenuity Cleveland, this collaboration worked with residents to capture stories through oral and written composition forms. History, Arts and Culture in the Glenville community with the art of storytelling and artistic expression through digital fabrication.

Fab House was featured in Cleveland Magazine‘s “7 Reasons To Smile About 2020” article for My Fab House’s efforts to manufacture PPE during the pandemic for residents of the Glenville neighborhood.

We received a Neighbor Up Action grant to create and distribute more PPE Kits for the Glenville residents and to hire a neighborhood youth for a micro-internship this summer.

350 PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Kits were delivered to Glenville Residents with items made with digital fabrication tools!

Fab House hosted our first fundraiser, The Cleveland Ice Cream Crawl. The event sold out and raised money for Fab House and another nonprofit.
